You pay for estimates where the homeowner showed up
You pay three things: your ad spend, straight to the ad platforms on your own card; a one-time setup fee; and a flat fee for each estimate where the homeowner was there. There is no monthly retainer and no long-term contract. The two fees are set on the call, based on your area and your mix of jobs.
The three costs
Ad spend, on your card
You pay the ad platforms directly. Plan on at least $50 a day, about $1,500 a month. The ad accounts are in your business's name, so you see every dollar the platforms charge and you keep the accounts if you stop. We never mark up your ad spend, because it never passes through us.
A one-time setup fee
Setup covers your landing page and everything behind it: the text, the call, the booking onto your calendar, and the reminders, for every lead. You pay it once.
A flat fee per shown estimate
After setup, our only fee is for estimates where the homeowner was there to walk the job. We bill once a week. A week with no shown estimates costs you nothing beyond your ad spend.
The terms, in full
These are the same terms as on our homepage.

Per estimate
After setup, you pay a flat fee for each shown estimate. We bill once a week.
What counts as shown
A homeowner booked through your ads, you showed up at the booked time, and they were there to walk the job.
What does not bill
Leads outside your service area. Leads asking for work you don't do. Homeowners who don't show. Duplicate bookings. Estimates you cancel.
You mark each one
Within 3 business days, mark each estimate shown or not shown, the way we set up with you. If you don't mark it, it counts as shown. If a charge looks wrong, email us within 14 days of the bill and we'll check the records and credit any that didn't count.
Your area is yours
Your area is written down when you sign up. While you're in, we won't run ads for another tree company there.
What we need from you
Give us access to your ad accounts and calendar. Keep the open times on your calendar current. Tell us when your service area or the work you take changes.
Term
There is no long-term contract. Email us and the ads go off within 2 business days. The landing page we host comes down with them.
These terms are written into your order form when you sign up.
Why the fees aren't on this page
Because one number would be wrong for most companies. A shown estimate is worth very different amounts to a removal-heavy company in Tampa and a trimming-heavy company in a rural county, and what it costs to get one varies by area too. So we set the setup fee and the per-estimate fee on the call, from your area and your mix of jobs, and you get them in writing before you pay anything.
What you can work out before the call is what one shown estimate is worth to you. That is the number to hold our fee up against.
What one shown estimate is worth to you
Multiply your average job value by your close rate on estimates. If your average job is $1,000 and you close 33 of every 100 estimates you walk, each shown estimate brings in about $330 of work. A per-estimate fee well under that leaves you money after the job. One close to it doesn't. The calculator on the homepage does the math with your own numbers.
The $1,000 and 33% are example inputs, not figures from a client. Use your own.
How it compares
- Retainer agency
- You pay the agency every month, on top of ad spend, whether your phone rings or not.
- Shared lead site
- You pay per lead, and other companies can buy the same lead.
- Zenith Co.
- You pay ad spend on your own card and a one-time setup fee. Our only other fee is for estimates the homeowner was there for.
Typical setups. Some agencies and lead sites work differently.
The difference that matters is what each one gets paid for. A retainer pays the agency for running your ads. A lead site gets paid for a name and number. We get paid when a homeowner is standing in their yard waiting for you, so our fee depends on the same thing your revenue does. The longer comparison is here.
Pricing questions
Is there a monthly fee?
No monthly retainer. You pay your ad spend to the ad platforms, a one-time setup fee to us, and a flat fee for each estimate where the homeowner showed up, billed weekly.
What do I pay if the ads don't book anything?
Your ad spend and the setup fee you already paid. No shown estimates means no per-estimate fees. If a stretch like that goes on, we talk about it, and you can stop any time with an email.
What if a homeowner books and isn't there?
You mark it not shown within 3 business days and it doesn't bill. The same goes for leads outside your area, work you don't do, duplicate bookings, and estimates you cancel.
How much should I budget for ads?
At least $50 a day, about $1,500 a month, paid to the ad platforms on your own card. That is the minimum we take on. How to set the right number for your company.
What happens when I stop?
Email us and the ads go off within 2 business days. The landing page we host comes down with them. The ad accounts are in your business's name, so they stay yours.
